I was rifling around my paper stash last week and stumbled upon a pack of paper that I had never really looked at once it arrived. To my surprise – and pleasure – I discovered that it wasn’t just patterned paper, but actual cardstock. I quickly decided to make this Quilled MOM Monogram because it was just the perfect color combination to test it out on.
This designer paper was from Cricut and it’s thick and crisp and is just perfect for outlining. Even better, it’s two-sided so when you stand it on it’s edge, you see a different pattern depending on the viewing angle. I LOVE this feature!
This Mom-ogram is 3/8″ deep for an extra bold look. It is 8″ x 10″ and mounted on 300gsm white cardstock. It comes with either just an 8″ x 10″ or with a white mat and 11″ x 14″ frame. I can also make this Mom-ogram in custom colors. Even though it’s a really simple design with just two color-coordinated flowers to adorn it, I think the patterned paper really makes it pop.
